Keep reading this GARDEN WEB post to learn about the most relevant tasks you'll need to do in your garden in JUNE.
Today, we dedicate this post to finding out what we can plant (and transplant) in the current month. In this case, we focus on JUNE, a month where transplanting and more transplanting will likely be the most frequent task. Of course, we need to be clear about what we can transplant, and for that, we provide a list of vegetables and produce that are at the most suitable time for it. Additionally, in this GARDEN WEB post, we will also tell you about other tasks you should perform in your garden in JUNE.
What to plant during the month of JUNE

Regarding what we can plant during this month, we must distinguish between direct sowing and seedbed sowing.
Vegetables that should be sown directly in the ground are chard, artichokes, cilantro, parsnip, corn, turnip, parsley, arugula, radishes, and carrots.
Those that should be sown in a seedbed would be zucchini, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, beans, and chicory.
What we must consider when sowing this month are winter crops, as these take up to 6 months to bear fruit, so it is interesting to start cultivating them this month.
Transplants to perform this month
As we mentioned at the beginning of this post, JUNE is the perfect time to carry out various transplants. Throughout the month, you can transplant crops such as zucchini, summer cauliflowers, basil, celery, onions, and lettuce. If you sowed any late tomatoes, this will also be the time to transplant them, as well as year-round crops like beets.
Harvests in your garden in JUNE
During this month, if your garden is in a warm area, you may still be able to pick some tomatoes. However, if you cultivate further north, you can harvest the last strawberries of the season from your garden.

In addition to these crops, you will also harvest the following plants if you sowed them in previous months: beans, parsley, peppers, radishes, and lettuce.
Other tasks to perform in your garden in JUNE
In addition to sowing, transplanting, and harvesting, it would also be advisable to jot down the following tasks in your agenda:
-
Increase the watering of your plants: there is little time left before temperatures rise significantly, which will cause your plants to demand more water. We recommend that you consider installing a drip irrigation system in your garden as it will help you have more efficient control over the water you give your plants.
-
Effectively remove weeds: due to the increase in temperatures, wild grass will also begin to proliferate in your garden. Eliminate it as soon as possible so that it does not absorb nutrients and water intended for your crops. It would also be advisable to install a roll of anti-weed mesh to prevent them from reappearing.

-
Be careful with pests: again, due to the heat and rising temperatures, these types of microorganisms that can damage your crops will begin to reproduce.
Buy bamboo stakes and other materials you need to sow your crops in the garden during May
To sow many of the crops we have mentioned this month, it will be essential to have all the necessary materials for your garden.
