Who hasn't dreamed of having an immortal plant that hardly needs watering and always looks beautiful?
Well, that doesn't exist unless we buy artificial plants, but we can opt for some varieties that are more resistant than others and don't require too much care.
Today we're talking about those super resistant and easy-to-maintain plants for all of you who are starting out in gardening or don't have enough time to dedicate to extensive care of your plants or garden.
1. Palm trees, plants resistant to lack of care
Palm trees are plant species that require very little care: they don't need frequent watering and don't require much light. The only thing we need to be careful with is applying a good substrate.
As for the easiest varieties, we find the "Chamaedorea elegans" if we decide to have it indoors; and the Yucca or the dwarf palm if we opt for outdoor palms.
2. Cacti, succulents and fat plants

Do you live in a very hot area with frequent droughts? Then we recommend that you choose to have cacti or other succulents. These types of plants can resist a good season without constant watering and without too much care.
However, the climate must be warm since excessively cold temperatures could be a drawback. A very resistant succulent is the tiger's tongue.
3. Pothos and Aspidistra
Pothos and aspidistra are very resistant plants that grow if they have good substrate and enough space in the pot. However, you have to be patient because they grow slowly as they absorb nutrients very gradually.
4. Cycads
All plants in this family (especially the Zamioculcas) are super resistant. They need little watering and care; in fact, it's advisable to let the substrate dry out a bit to know when to water the plant again. As for light, it doesn't require too much and tolerates all types of temperatures as long as they are not extreme.
5. Bougainvillea
It is an outdoor climbing plant that is very rewarding and with little care will sprout and leave our balcony or garden beautifully colorful in less time than we think. The only care it requires with a little more pampering is to have a support to climb on. Otherwise, little water, natural light, and moderate temperatures.
