What are the most common mistakes we make with our plants?
Today we're back with the blog, and one of the most frequent questions we encounter almost daily is why plants die if (in theory) we do everything they supposedly need. Well, perhaps you are making some of the most common mistakes that we have all made almost without realizing it, so if you want to fix it, take note!
WE BUY THE PLANT FOR DECORATION

Well, so far we all agree. However, we must be clear about where we are going to place it, taking into account the plant's requirements, that is, how much light it needs, whether it is an indoor or outdoor plant... and whether the place where we are going to place it meets all of them.
WE MOVE THE PLANT
Suddenly we decide that the plant would be better located in another part of the house. Well, moving it from where it is is not a good idea. The plant has already acclimatized to the spot and receives everything it needs there. Moving it to a place that does not have the same characteristics could have disastrous consequences for our plant.
WATERING WITHOUT CRITERIA

Or in other words, watering all plants equally. We must know what plant we buy or sow and how much water it needs. Not all species respond the same way, nor do they store or require the same amount of hydration. Therefore, if we don't want to drown or dry it out, it might be advisable to find out what water resources it needs to live and develop fully.
Other common mistakes in caring for our plants
In addition to the previous three, we also often make mistakes in:
Not repotting when plants need it
Plants need to grow, settle, and if the roots don't have space, they will eventually reach a point where they can't anymore and risk dying. Another thing is that the soil needs aeration from time to time, so stirring the soil occasionally is also ideal if we want to avoid the formation of fungi or moss.
Not receiving enough light
Just as with water, each plant has its own light needs. So we must take into account whether it needs direct or indirect sun exposure, whether it is an indoor or outdoor plant... since all of this influences its development and growth.
Not using fertilizers or applying the correct one

Plants require certain nutrients that not all soils or substrates possess. Therefore, the use of fertilizers is crucial for the healthy growth of our plant.
