When we grow a tree, it's normal to prioritize products dedicated to its care, such as substrate and fertilizers, the pot it will be planted in, or the type of irrigation, among others. However, when you are professionally dedicated to growing and selling trees, it is also important to have other materials that can greatly facilitate your work when you have to transport plants to your customers.

Natural jute to protect your plants

Natural jute is a 100% natural fabric primarily used to wrap the roots of a plant or tree to create a root ball that protects the plants during transport. We offer this 100% natural product in both 100-meter rolls and pre-cut squares to speed up the work process.

In addition to jute, nursery growers use retractable wire baskets to wrap the root ball. The same result can also be achieved with triple-twist mesh, although the former are already manufactured in the shape of the root ball.

With this method, professionals save money on production since they can transport trees without having to buy pots to move them from one place to another.

Meshes to protect your plants

Depending on the type of plant, there are different plastic meshes to wrap them so they don't get damaged during the transport process. The plastic meshes you can find in our online store are:

Liacarries or palletizing mesh

Professionals dedicated primarily to small plants use carries or flower carts to transport them both by truck and through garden centers. To prevent them from moving during transport and, consequently, damaging the plants, palletizing mesh is used.

The palletizing mesh is made of a colorless and very thin plastic, which allows for good breathability for the plants since it is wrapped around the outside of the carry. In our online store, you can find this mesh in 500-meter rolls.

Tubular mesh

Unlike liacarries mesh, which is used to wrap the carts containing the plants, tubular mesh is used to individually wrap each plant to secure them during transport. And here you might ask: why use this mesh and not palletizing mesh, which saves you from doing it plant by plant?

The answer is simple: some plants are small but have very long branches, such as palms, strelitzias, and hedges (among others), which need to be wrapped with this type of mesh so they don't get tangled with each other during the transport process.

Other products to secure your plants
